About Us

This enables us to develop and improve technical specifications to ensure superior performance and reliability while maintaining cost effectiveness. TTC can provide technical assistance in tender evaluations, design reviews, drawing approvals, factory inspections, test witnessing, technical support with installation and commissioning, technical knowhow on retro-filling and pursuing environmentally friendly alternatives and improvement of losses and optimizing efficiencies.

Failure Investigations

Finding the root cause of a failure is key to preventing the costly and time consuming event from happening again.

Assists in settling insurance claims and reducing premiums

Identifies areas of improvement for designs of networks, operating practices and transformer manufacturing.

A continuous drive to make safer working conditions.

Asset Management

The expected life of a transformer used at rated conditions is directly related to the ageing of the insulation system comprising of the mineral oil and the solid insulation.

The aged oil can be replaced or regenerated but there is no economical way of replacing the insulating paper, and therefore when it reaches a low Degree of Polymerization (DP) value, the transformer is declared to have reached the end of its useful life.

Heat, moisture and oxygen are the primary causes of paper Premature failures are due to manufacturing defects, network performance and operating practices
